Audio Production Course

My experience teaching music production spans both university and independent educational settings. At the University of Calgary, I served as a Sessional Instructor teaching MUED 417.10 and MUED 671.5 – Selected Topics in School Music (Music Technology for Educators) to undergraduate and graduate students, exploring the practical and educational applications of music technology and production. I also designed and taught a comprehensive six-month Do-It-Yourself Music Production course for complete beginners, working with a wide range of musicians and artists. The course covered the production process from fundamental concepts of sound through recording, post-production, and music publishing.

Currently, I teach students various aspects of music production, including recording, editing, mixing, and the creative and technical processes involved in developing a finished production. For lesson inquiries or more information, please contact me at hello@pooya.art.
